Ethan J. Perry & The Remedy Band self-describe their music as "Americana indie technicolor jazz." The band’s sound is unique; some have described it as akin to cosmic country. Jaimie Hawkins, an independent music reviewer, said of their music, "[it’s like] riding a horse through a desert in space." Additionally, Rachael Perrell of The Levee Breaking writes, “It’s honest… It’s the super long drive home to visit, remembering the dog you grew up with, and maybe even quietly missing a long-put-out relationship.”
Ethan J. Perry & The Remedy Band released their debut album, Sundial, in 2016 to critical acclaim and international attention, including airplay on KEXP (an international station based in Seattle). Regarding the release, Elmore Magazine writes:
“Sundial is steeped in a true, old-school Americana sound… The lush twang of guitars and delicate pluck of mandolin usher in the album with ‘May The Sun (Come Ever Shining),’ though the record indeed reels through a kaleidoscope of influences and instrumental stylings.”
The band recently completed their sophomore album, Cosmic Green Turtle, and is currently releasing singles from the record. The next single, titled “Around The World,” is slated for release in the summer of 2026. Stay tuned!
