Four international spies hide a stolen, top-secret military computer chip inside a remote-controlled toy car to bypass airport security. An airport mix-up leads an elderly neighbor to take the car and gift it to 8-year-old Alex Pruitt (Alex D. Linz), who is home sick with chickenpox in a Chicago suburb. When the criminals trace the toy to his neighborhood, Alex sets up an array of clever booby traps to defend his home.
