Idaho’s Original Bob Marley Celebration Returns to Hailey
Mountain Niceness Productions returns with another authentic mountain town experience as Reggae in the Mountains comes back to the Liberty Theater in Hailey, Idaho on March 7th. The annual celebration promises an evening of uplifting music, unity, and good vibes in honor of the legacy of Bob Marley.
Back by popular demand after last year’s sold-out show, Natural Roots headlines the event. The authentic Roots Reggae band was founded in 2004 in Salt Lake City, Utah, by Jan van der Beek (lead singer and songwriter) and Esi Lautaimi (bass). Known for their conscious, original music, Natural Roots gained international recognition with their album Words of Jah, which was voted the #3 reggae album of 2012 on Reggaeville.com. Comprised of members of Pacific Islander heritage from New Zealand, Tonga, and Samoa, the band delivers powerful messages of unity, love, and consciousness—living by their motto, “The message is in the music.”
Opening the show is Daverse, an artist with a unique reggae sound. Also on the bill is DJ/Selector Kingfisher Sound, bringing Irie selections to keep the dance hall moving throughout the night.
