Join us at the Liberty Theater for a screening of Wayward, the first feature-length documentary about the history of women's snowboarding. All proceeds support the Sun Valley Snowboard Team.
Directed by filmmaker Mia Lambson Brady of Tomboy Media, Wayward covers more than 40 years of women's riding, from the earliest pioneers to today's champions. The film combines archival footage with interviews featuring more than 30 riders and industry leaders, including Shannon Dunn, Barrett Christy, Kelly Clark, Jamie Anderson, Anna Gasser, Jess Kimura, Elena Hight, Jill Perkins, and more. It's a story about rebellion, identity, and community, and about the women who built snowboarding into what it is today, often without getting credit for it.
